"We enjoyed the quiet of the off-season,
fabulous beaches and very friendly people."
A week at your house and on St Barths in September
2006 was a wonderful way to celebrate our 20th Wedding Anniversary
and to "recharge our batteries." We enjoyed the quiet
of the off-season, fabulous beaches and very friendly people.
"Again, many thanks for a great
time in 'Paradise'."
Nathalie (the Villa Finistere Manager) and Fi
(the Villa Finistere Housekeeper) were very, very helpful. Fi
took it upon herself to locate some fresh tuna and freshly caught
lobster. They both went out of their way to make our stay delightful.

"We even used the Spa at the Hotel St Barth Isle de France and it was fantastic!"
Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our honeymoon in December, 2006 at Villa Finistere. Fi ( Villa Finistere Housekeeper) and Nathalie (Villa Finistere Manager) were great. Fi provided a lot of useful information, and her husband Richard helped pack a print we had purchased. The villa was perfect. We even used the Spa at the Hotel St Barth Isle de France, and it was fantastic! We dined at La Langouste a few nights and Annie the owner was very welcoming. We used the boogie boards and chairs at a different beach every day.

"Fi and Richard left us a card and flowers
and even called to wish us a Happy Anniversary!"
We took your suggestion and had dinner at Eden Rock
for our anniversary. The evening was beautiful. The setting
perfect and the food excellent. Fi and Richard (the Villa Finistere staff) left
us a card and flowers and even called to wish us Happy Anniversary! They were
so sweet and took great
care of us on our visit in April, 2003.
"We took advantage of the hospitality at Villa Finistere's neighbor the 4-Star Hotel Isle de France ..."
The food and refreshments after a day of travel on our arrival were so much appreciated. Thank you for your thoughtfulness. We took advantage of the hospitality at Villa Finistere's neighbor the 4-Star Hotel Isle de France both sunning on the beach and enjoying their fine food. Everyone was gracious.

"...our best vacation!"
You were right when you told me that this would be our
best vacation!
Villa Finistere exceeded our expectations---from the
fabulous stock of food and drink, to the jazz cd's(Diana
Krall, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, etc.) to the
rolled-up beach blankets. You have a fantastic island
home which we enjoyed immensely on our visit in March, 2003.
We will savor the memories from our 20th Wedding Anniversary
getaway and look forward to our return.

"...and in a great location---we loved Flamands Beach!"
We had an incredible time on our visit April, 20001. Everything
was perfect. The villa was well maintained, and in a great location---we
loved Flamands Beach! Your recommendation for the "proposal" at
Eden Rock was a great choice---I think the most romantic place
on the entire island. She said, "yes!."The people on the island,
both tourists and natives, were very friendly. What an incredible
place! We had an amazing time and really enjoyed ourselves there.
Pascale and Fi were both very nice and helpful and made us feel
at home. You can be sure that we will be returning as your guests
again in the near future.

"The Ultimate Honeymoon Destination"
Villa Finistere in St. Barts is the ultimate honeymoon destination.
Located in beautiful Flamands Beach, it is private, yet close
to everything one could possibly need. The beautiful and well-maintained
landscaping accentuates the true luxury of the home. Complete
with it's own pool, separate guest house, fully-equipped gourmet
kitchen, CD-Stereo, outdoor shower, climate-controlled rooms,
satellite-TV, Jacuzzi Tubs, fax machine and outdoor grill, it
was a haven of luxury.
"Tastefully Decorated"
We flew into St. Barts for a two-week honeymoon in November, 2000
on a St. Barts commuter airline, and were greeted by Villa Finistere
Manager Pascale upon picking up our rental car. We arrived at
the villa and were amazed at the attention to detail. The house
is very tastefully decorated. Fresh flowers and fruit were present
throughout the house, as well as a refrigerator stocked with wine,
cheese, pastries, roasted chicken, sodas etc. It was very nice
after a day of traveling to be able to sit back and relax in the
villa on our first night there. It gave us a chance to look over
all of the island information and plan our next day.
The
maid at the villa, Fi, was wonderful. She is fluent in English
and is a great resource for information on the island. Fi
came everyday but Sunday, thoroughly cleaning the house
and bringing fresh linens. Fi washed our clothes, ironed
and straightened the house daily. Fi also came and prepared
us a wonderful meal from a tasty appetizer, delicious main
course, to a scrumptious dessert.
"The lobster, Creole dishes and Chocolate Cake..."
We dined at several outstanding restaurants throughout our
two weeks. The restaurant that we frequented most was La
Langouste, which is nestled on the beach, just a short walk
down the street from Villa Finistere. The lobster, Creole
dishes and chocolate cake are outstanding. The wait staff
is friendly and courteous. We also had the pleasure of dining

Case de L'Lisle, located directly across the streetat the Hotel
St. Barts Isle de France. There we had a wonderful view of the
ocean, watching the waves break as we dined. The manager of the
hotel greeted us upon our arrival and welcomed us to use their
facilities, towels and beach chairs. The Hotel Isle de France
had superb Pina Coladas brought to you on the beach by Jan, the
beach boy. We also enjoyed dining at La Repaire in Gustavia. It
is a nice place to go when you want to have a relaxing lunch with
a spectacular view of the harbor after a morning of shopping.
They also serve cheeseburgers and French fries for anyone from
the US that gets homesick.
"...as the breeze is gently blowing."
There are many things to see and do on the island. We enjoyed
shopping trips in town, hiking to Colombier Beach, collecting
shells on Shell Beach, and enjoying a memorable sunset on Saline
Beach. We also spent a lot of our time at Villa Finistere, enjoying
all of its amenities. The pool was welcoming and refreshing after
a morning on the beach. We spent many a day out on the large deck
around the pool beneath the umbrella enjoying our lunch. Mornings
were spent on the veranda, eating pastries and sipping coffee
and juice as the sun came up over the horizon. The veranda is
also an excellent place to receive an in-home massage, especially
at dusk as the breeze is gently blowing.
"Villa Finistere is pure paradise."
Villa Finistere is pure paradise. We had seen other villas during
our stay, but none compared to Villa Finistere. The amenities
at Villa Finistere are abundant. We felt as if it was an excellent
value. Attention to detail is extremely evident throughout Villa
Finistere. We were very fortunate to have found such a wonderful
and romantic honeymoon location through the Villa Finistere Internet
website. We plan to return soon!
